Marque Marketing Ltd · Last updated: 28 June 2026

Marque Marketing Ltd (“Marque”, “we”, “our”, “us”) operates Marque, a platform that lets businesses create, manage and measure advertising campaigns across connected advertising platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, LinkedIn and TikTok.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how we handle data accessed through each advertising platform’s API, and the rights you have over your data. It applies to visitors to our website and to business users who connect their advertising accounts to Marque.

If you have any questions about this policy or wish to make a data request, contact us at legal@marque.marketing.

01Information we collect

We collect personal data in two settings.

When you contact us or sign up. If you complete an enquiry or sign-up form, or otherwise correspond with us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, business email address, company name and the details of your enquiry.

When you use “Get started”. If you go through our Get started journey, we collect the answers you give — whether you have a website and its address, a short description of your business, who your customers are, your goal and budget band, and the email address you ask us to send your plan to. If you give us a website address, we fetch that single public page, extract its text, and send it together with your answers to a large-language model (Anthropic’s Claude, via Amazon Bedrock) to generate a short, illustrative “first read” of your business. We do not crawl beyond the page you give us, and the model provider does not retain that content or use it to train models. The page text is not stored; the short first read we generate is kept alongside your enquiry so our team can prepare your campaign from it.

When you connect an advertising platform to Marque. To provide the service, Marque connects to advertising platforms on your instruction through their official APIs. When you authorise a connection, the platform issues Marque an access token, and we access the data described in the platform-specific sections below. In every case the scope is limited to managing the advertising accounts and campaigns you have authorised us to operate.

We do not use these platform connections to collect the personal browsing data of consumers, build advertising audiences, or operate tracking pixels or conversion APIs.

02How we use data

We use the data we collect to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide the Marque service to you;
  • create, edit, manage and schedule advertising campaigns in the ad accounts you have connected, on your instruction;
  • read advertising performance data so we can report on and help optimise your campaigns;
  • identify which accounts and assets you have authorised Marque to operate on; and
  • operate, secure and improve the platform.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share platform data with third parties except service providers strictly necessary to run Marque (such as our cloud hosting and infrastructure providers), or where required by law.

03Platform data access

Marque integrates with the advertising platforms below. Our use of data received through each platform’s API adheres to that platform’s developer terms and policies, including any limited-use requirements. We only access data for accounts you have explicitly connected and authorised.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

When you connect a Meta account, Marque accesses the following through the Meta Marketing API:

  • Business and account information, including your Meta Business Manager and ad account identifiers, names and associated assets, used to identify the accounts you have authorised Marque to operate on.
  • Advertising management data, including the campaigns, ad sets and ads we create, edit and manage in your ad accounts on your instruction.
  • Advertising performance data, including metrics and insights for your campaigns, used to report on and optimise performance.
  • Basic profile information, including your name and user ID, used to identify your account within Marque.

Our use of information received from Meta adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

Google (Google Ads)

When you connect a Google account, Marque accesses the following through the Google Ads API:

  • Account information, including your Google Ads customer and manager account identifiers, used to identify the accounts you have authorised Marque to operate on.
  • Advertising management data, including the campaigns, ad groups and ads we create, edit and manage on your instruction.
  • Advertising performance data, including metrics and reports for your campaigns, used to report on and optimise performance.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its limited-use requirements, and to the Google Ads API terms.

LinkedIn

  • Advertising performance data, including analytics for your campaigns, used to report on and optimise performance.

Our use of information received from LinkedIn adheres to the LinkedIn Marketing API terms and applicable LinkedIn developer policies.

TikTok

When you connect a TikTok account, Marque accesses the following through the TikTok Business / Marketing API:

  • Account information, including your TikTok Business Center and advertiser account identifiers, used to identify the accounts you have authorised Marque to operate on.

Our use of information received from TikTok adheres to the TikTok for Business and TikTok Developer terms and policies.

04Storage and security of access credentials

Access tokens and credentials obtained when you connect a platform are stored on our servers and encrypted at rest. Access to them is restricted to the systems and personnel necessary to operate the service. You can disconnect any platform at any time, which revokes Marque’s access to that account.

05Data retention and deletion

We retain connected-account data only for as long as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect a platform or close your account, we delete the associated access tokens and connected-account data within 30 days, unless you instruct us to retain it for longer or we are required to keep it by law.

Requesting deletion of data held by Marque. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, email legal@marque.marketing. We process such requests within 30 days.

Removing Marque’s access at the platform. You can revoke Marque’s access and request the platform delete the relevant connection data directly:

  • Meta: Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites, locate Marque, and select Remove.
  • Google: Google Account permissions, locate Marque, and select Remove access.
  • LinkedIn: Settings & Privacy > Data Privacy > Permitted Services, locate Marque, and remove it.
  • TikTok: in your TikTok Business Center or account settings, locate Marque under connected apps and remove access.

06Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, port, restrict or erase your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact legal@marque.marketing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

07Cookies and local storage

Our marketing website does not set advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies, and it does not require a cookie-consent banner under UK PECR. The Get started journey keeps your progress in your browser’s session storage (cleared when you close the tab) so a refresh doesn’t lose your place — this is strictly necessary for the journey you have chosen to use, and never leaves your device until you submit.

When you sign in to the Marque app we set one strictly-necessary cookie, marque_session, to keep you signed in. It is marked httpOnly, sameSite=lax and secure in production, and is not shared with third parties. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will request your consent first.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
